Tiny Bots
- After reading an article regarding the US military research of drone swarms I wanted to use built an
army of tiny robots that could communicate with eachother.
- The first designs were using ATtiny's, they were mainly to test the movement system I made using two
tiny motors.
- With some ESP8266's I had laying around a used them to get two robots to talk to eachother, however
neither were communicating movement instructions.
- I'm interesting in doing more work on this however with the high cost of ATmega128RFA1's any future
work I do would probably be on the ESP32 but I want the ability to build a design from the ground up
so we'll see what the future holds for my tiny bots as we move into 2020.
Robot based on InMoov
- I started printing and building the robot in late 2017, however shortly afterward work stalled while
other projects came up.
- I designed and built a desktop application to control and program pre-defined movements.
- Using the camera in the eye and object recognition software you could interface with the control
application to react to objects and movement.
